SATELLITE MOTEL
TREASURE ISLAND, FL
There's So Much To Do In Treasure Island!
With a name like Treasure Island, you know this is a town that doesn’t take itself too seriously – one where old salts and young folks alike will have a blast.
The beach here is uncommonly wide in most parts, which means you’ll find plenty of space to spread out. Old-school mom ‘n’ pop hotels lend T.I. (as locals call it) a ton of Old Florida charm, as does Sunset Beach, a quaint neighborhood on its southern tip.
Get To Know John's Pass.
Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County’s #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

EXCELLENT Based on 344 reviews Posted on Lydia HickmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very clean, very quiet,.. And the staff is exceptional!!!Posted on MaryAnn FaralliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Everything was great. Easy check in and out. Clean, quiet, and basic accommodations at a reasonable price for a quick trip for a job interview. Great location across the street from the beach. Toilet did not work but fixed immediately after expressed need. They even obtained an iron and ironing board for me for my interview suit when asked. Definitely a quiet, older clientele. Looks like many owners of the units here during my stay. They all knew each other. So if you’re looking to party, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, very safe, nice and relaxing location if you desire peace and quiet.Posted on Roland PiechaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a fantastic stay at Satellite Motel in Treasure Island. The place was spotless and very well maintained, which made a big difference. The rooms are comfortable and nicely kept, giving it a cozy feel throughout. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and very close to great restaurants and bars, making everything super convenient. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, comfortable stay in a perfect location.Posted on Bonnie DesrosiersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just stayed here for the first time, we spent 4 nights in room 117. It was perfect, it’s a very small motel but with renovated spacious rooms. A full size fridge, a hot plate to cook delicious foods and propane grills which we used almost every night. Utilize their private fishing dock! We caught so many fish within our stay and spent lots of time over there. This was my birthday trip and we got a smidge loud at certain times, but everyone around us was so incredibly nice and we didn’t have a single issue. Roomkeeping was awesome, they didn’t come in the rooms at 8am fortunately for us they also happened to always come when we were out lol. Keypad entry to get into rooms, so it’s really nice that you don’t have to worry about carrying/losing a key. We had a fantastic stay and definitely plan to go back to this cozy and fun spot.Posted on Barbara V.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This may not be everyone's idea of a 5 star hotel, but we enjoyed it! It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. We had some travel issues, and they worked with us to ensure we had the best experience. Our room was beachy, updated, clean, and comfortable. It was very nice having our own little porch to sit on at the end of the day. The AC worked well. It was a quiet stay except for occasional street noise. The pool was clean and cool, and the lovely beach was just across the street. If an egret comes to the pool, don't feed it! And be careful because it will come peck you. 😁 We would definitely stay here when we get to come back. UPDATE We've been back several times and have always enjoyed our stay. They rebuilt/recovered/updated well from the hurricane.Posted on Amy EdwardsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Unexpectedly great! The building and rooms are minimally renovated and clean. What a bargain for a room with everything you need for a week vacation and a 1 minute walk across the street to reach sand!Posted on Liz StrunkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a great place with staff that actually cares. Location is amazing for the cost, and every room they have allows for cooking.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
